Founded
in 1987 by Paul and Kay Herrington, Olde Homestead is backed with 15
years of experience. Through our commitment,
experience, and expertise the Olde Homestead has established a
relationship with our customers that will last a
lifetime!
The
Olde Homestead provides the ideal facility for bird
Hunters. Approximately 5,000 acres of private
grounds provide excellent habitat for Pheasant, Quail and
Prairie Chicken.
All grounds hold outstanding numbers of native
pheasant along with good populations of quail and a
limited number of prairie chicken.
Located
in North Central Kansas, Jewell County, this beautiful rural
home was built by Jenny Sink and husband in the early
1900's. Her granddaughter, Kay Herrington, recently
converted this old home into a hunting lodge and retreat
that is capable of handling up to 14 guests.
Located
18 miles east and 2 miles south of Smith
Center, Kansas or
13 miles west and 2 miles south of Mankato, Kansas on U.S. Highway
36.
Municipal airports at Smith Center and Mankato, Kansas both have 3,500 foot
asphalt runways and are with in 18 miles of the lodge.
Transportation to and from these airports is
provided.
